While Palin did a remarkable job at not looking like a complete idiot as she did during every televised - not scripted interview - there wasn't much else to rave about. She stuck to talking points much in the same way a nervous college student would do - after spending the night cramming for a quiz and avoiding answering unfamiliar questions. She clearly diverted to issues that she- personally has had some experience in - like energy, drilling and Alasssska as a way of avoiding saying nonsense in response to questions (most of them) that she didn't know how to answer.
Biden was very reserved, succinct and controlled. He didn't appear too condescending - though there were times he clearly wanted to punch her in the face for her inexperience - and annoying repetition of the word 'maverick' -a recent addition to her vocabulary.
Hey Sarah I have a new word for you to describe your running mate - ridiculous.
Anyhoo - there were a few issues both candidates were rusty on and while Biden stuck to facts (well sometimes) and defending Obama's opposition on issues that the Repubicans failed at miserably - Palin clearly gave even more reasons as to why she is not ready for the position of second in command of the US of A.
